Soccer player Daud Dahir from Carleton University is the ArcelorMittal Dofasco CIS male athlete of the week for the period ending Sept. 18, 2016.
Dahir, a fifth-year commerce major from Ottawa, scored five times in three games for the Ravens, including a hat-trick in a 9-1 victory last Wednesday over Trent. The veteran midfielder went on to record the opening goals in both a 4-0 shutout against RMC Friday and 4-2 win over Queen’s Sunday. The five goals vaulted Dahir into a tie for fifth in scoring across the country.
